This strategic sourcing manager will be responsible for request for proposals, negotiations and contracting for Global Benefits, Human Resources Services, and related services. These services will include, but are not limited to, benefits consulting, benefits administration services, pharmacy benefit management services, medical insurance administration services and a variety of other health and benefits services. The strategic sourcing manager works with internal business partners and external consultants to identify opportunities, develop strategy, develop and manage RFx process, and negotiate deals and contracts in this area. The strategic sourcing manager will be responsible for ensuring that supplier management processes are established as required, and that the sourcing process is followed for all sourcing activities. Must have the ability to think analytically, work independently, support the Global Benefits Department and manage multiple priorities.

Job Duties

+ Analyze complex data to identify sourcing opportunities and evaluate spending trends

+ Collaborate with business partners to develop and implement sourcing strategies for Global Benefits and Human Resources

+ Remain abreast of internal and external factors affecting commodity areas

+ Continually introduce industry best practices to the business and coordinate with various business partners to implement where feasible

+ Manage RFx process utilizing sourcing best practices; this includes the resolution of any contracts related issues

+ Negotiate and implement deals that bring cost savings, improved service levels, and other value for the business

+ Develop compelling business cases/analysis to drive meaningful change in the process or supplier as appropriate to meet sourcing objectives

+ Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal business partners and external Suppliers


u>Basic Qualifications

+ A minimum of 5 years procurement experience in a sophisticated sourcing environment

+ A minimum of 4 years experience in all aspects of the sourcing process including: market analysis; RFx development and analysis; strategy development; contract development, negotiations, supplier management and spend analysis

+ Bachelor's degree

**Desired Characteristics**

+ Experience in sourcing services, specifically global benefits and human resources related services described above

+ Excellent ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and web based tools

+ Skills and flexibility to assume a variety of categories as may be required

+ Highly analytical—able to formulate and analyze complex data, detail oriented and highly proficient in Excel

+ Strategic thinking skills including an ability to make sound business judgments related to strategic supply philosophies, and initiatives

+ Effective integrator, collaborator and promoter. Ability to collaborate and influence toward optimal sourcing outcomes
