This Product Manager, Scores & Data will define implementation of results data within NBCOlympics.com and other NBCSG properties. Day-to-day operations will include coordinating across multiple internal departments (design, editorial, production and technology) and external partners to gather requirements, set timelines and project manage deliverables to release. Attention to detail, ability to organize complex and intertwined tasks, and strong communication skills will be the key to success in this fast paced, event based environment.
+ Serve as the primary point-of-contact for ideation and development of Results pages
+ Conceptualize and develop new results implementation
+ Learn and become a subject matter expert on Winter Olympic Sports
+ Gather and document detailed requirements for results implementation with new vendor
+ Expand results offering to multiple platforms (Desktop, Mobile, Connected TV)
+ Leverage sports experience to drive user focused results display
+ Manage and track project timelines and schedules to ensure components are delivered on-time
+ Prioritize and communicate needs across multiple teams including; design, production, editorial and technical.
+ Identify, analyze and respond to project risks/issues as they occur.
+ Track progress and report status internally and to external partners throughout the project life-cycle.
+ Ensure quality and accuracy of all deliverables .
+ Work with 3rd party partners for content and feature integration
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
+ Minimum five (5) years of experience in managing the production/development of websites and/or editorial knowledge of website publishingAdditional Qualifications
