**Responsibilities**

Job Responsibilities




+ Manage the placement of commercial spots and sponsorship billboards to maximize revenue and inventory

+ Conceive, produce, edit and write on-air promotional spots and marketing campaigns for NBC4 News programming, special events and digital properties

+ Partner with the NBC4 News department to create promotions such as topical, PSAs, image, and franchise campaigns to execute the strategic goals of the station

+ Collaborate with the VP of Local Brand Marketing, Promotion Manager, graphic artists and the overall creative team

+ Ensure that assigned projects meet their assigned budget and are delivered on time

+ Communicate clearly and in a timely manner with all production team members

+ Push the creative envelope to new heights while adhering to brand guidelines

+ Attend weekly planning/production meetings

+ Perform other related duties as assigned

**Qualifications/Requirements**

Basic Qualifications




+ Minimum 3 years of on-air promotion experience as a writer/producer/editor for a cable network or local station

+ Minimum 4 years’ experience working in a news environment

+ Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro

+ Strong creative writing skills with proven examples

+ Strong knowledge of television production procedures and news operations

+ Knowledge of promo editorial process from beginning to end

+ Bachelor’s Degree in related field and/or equivalent work experience Eligibility Requirements
