**Responsibilities**



Job Purpose




This is an opportunity to learn and grow in an exciting, evolving research environment supporting the NBC Entertainment Program Research team. This position will report to the VP of NBC Entertainment Research and work with a variety of teams across Research, Marketing, Scheduling, Programming, Press and Digital.




Essential Responsibilities:




+ Collect, analyze and interpret both digital and linear program data from a variety of internal and external sources

+ Responsible for routine tracking, reporting and filling ad hoc requests, in collaboration with East Coast Director of Landscape Research

+ Work with team members to incorporate multi-platform consumption into reporting, presentations and highlights

+ Help Inform on issues relevant to the media landscape such as TV screen usage, connected device adoption and growth, video-on-demand, mobile media use, new and emerging services and technologies

**Qualifications/Requirements**



Basic Qualifications:




+ Minimum 3 years of experience; knowledge of both TV and digital analytics preferredEligibility Requirements:

+ Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered

+ Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA

+ Must be willing to submit to a background investigation

+ Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

+ Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program

+ Must be 18 years or older

**Desired Characteristics**

Desired Characteristics:




+ Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Media, Statistics or related field stongly desired

+ Experience with Adobe Analytics, Comscore, Hulu, Rentrak, and Nielsen tools including Npower strongly desired

+ Expertise with Microsoft Office tools (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)

+ Experience with advanced data management tools including SQL and Tableau a plus.

+ In-depth knowledge of media industry including linear, online, mobile, tablets, OTT and other emerging technologies

+ Passion for storytelling using data

+ Superior mathematical/statistical capabilities

+ Excel Macros/VBA expertise

+ Passion for content (TV/Digital) past, present and future

+ Ability to take a project from inception to completion while managing multiple deadlines

+ Team Player
