SUMMARY:Work with team on web development, e-commerce, digital technology tools for content management, personalization and targeting and multi-language translation.

Areas may include:

+ Web development: Work with senior developers on analysis/design, coding using languages such as NET, AngularJS, Node and frontend development utilizing using HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, etc., in the development of websites and ecommerce capabilities.

+ Mobile development: Gather requirements; design/develop prototypes and enhancements; and identify, triage, and resolve defects. Learning goals: Mobile application development or iOS and/or Android. Business analysis skills including requirements gathering and identifying dependencies. Project management skills including timeline management and scope management.

+ IT Solutions Delivery: Assist with the design, development, and deployment of projects including web applications (HTML5/CSS, javascript/angular), native applications (.NET C#), and peripheral integrations (barcode scanners, biometrics, etc.) Design, run and monitor tests on new and existing system for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement and general debugging.


+ Teach the basics of working with a team, understanding the dynamics in building modern websites, using advanced tools.

+ Develop an understanding of ecommerce in the real world, in a complex entertainment environment.

+ Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Universal Orlando policy, procedures, training and Team Member involvement activities.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.



+ In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution

+ Current class standing of Sophomore or above

+ Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above (official transcripts available upon request)

+ Consistent attendance is a job requirement

+ Approximate dates of this internship are from May 2017 – August 2017

+ Availability requirement typically includes 24-40 hours per week; Monday through Friday (may include weekends)

+ Preferred coursework completed: HTML 5, CSS3, Javascript, NET, AngularJS


+ Must be willing to work at least 20 hours a week from January to May 2017.

+ HTML 5, CSS3, NET, AngularJS, C#, understanding of base web development concepts.

+ Must be efficient in Microsoft Office Programs including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

+ Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities and organization

+ Exceptional attention to detail

+ Superior written & verbal communication skills

+ Work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines

+ Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams

+ Prior internship experience is preferred
