Job Purpose:

The Events and Operations Coordinator will assist the Events and Operations team in their day-to-day activities managing events, accounting, press mailers and office administrative duties.

Essential Responsibilities:

+ Assist with researching events (venues, hotels, activities, merchandise)

+ Facilitate and staff press events including semi-annual press tours, award shows, press junkets, etc

+ Manage event guests lists, invitations and RSVPs for multiple events simultaneously

+ Utilize Photoshop or similar software to help design signs, invitations and other event collateral

+ Maintain the calendars and manage the schedules of your managers

+ Assist with accounts payable for the Press and Publicity department

+ General office and administrative duties


Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelors degree

+ Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

+ Strong knowledge of PhotoshopEligibility Requirements:

+ Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered

+ Willingness to work long hours and on weekends with short notice

+ Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA

+ Must be willing to submit to a background investigation

+ Must have work authorization to work in the United States

+ Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
